Children’s Day (2025) -  Seva by Shamyapras (SSVT)

 

A Day of Compassion, Grace, and Community Service. On the blessed occasion of Children’s Day, Shamyapras Foundation carried out a heartfelt seva initiative at P.M. Shri Government Inter College, IDPL, Veerbhadra, Rishikesh.

 

The program unfolded in the divine presence of Pujya Swami Vasudevdas Ji, President of Shamyapras and Shri Sharadamba Vidyapeeth Trust, Rishikesh.The day began with cleanliness activities led by students and volunteers, setting a tone of purity and collective responsibility.

 

This noble service was made possible through the generosity of a devoted donor of our Trust, Smt. Mohini Sarin Ji (USA). Her compassionate support enabled the distribution of new branded clothes and essential items worth ₹10 lakh, lovingly sourced from the USA and Dubai for the welfare of the children.---

 

🌸 Offerings to the ChildrenGuided by the spirit of Nar Seva Narayan Seva, the children received:* Branded garments for boys and girls* Sarees, salwar suits, kurtis, shirts and T-shirts* Shoes, slippers, socks, vests, undergarments* Bedsheets, keychains, pens* Toffees and small tokens of affectionEvery item was offered as prasad of compassion, symbolizing the blessings of the Guru and the kindness of devotees.---

 

🌺 Honoured GuestsThe program was graced by esteemed dignitaries:* Hon’ble Mayor Shambhu Paswan* Minister of State Girish Dobal* Municipal Commissioner Gopal Ram BinwalTheir presence added encouragement and inspiration to the occasion.---

 

🌷 Seva That Inspired ManyInspired by this gesture, women staff members of a nearby college came forward to prepare kheer, puri, vegetables, and salad as their heartfelt contribution.Their participation reflected an eternal truth: one act of kindness kindles goodness in many hearts.---

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose  Orphanage

  • Provide School supplies for 50 Children of the Orphanage, including the following:

    • ​including NoteBooks

    •  School Bags

    • Shoes

    • Water Bottles

  • Succesfully completed a  Medical camp with the help of AIIMS Rishikesh and identified Health issues that need to be addressed for the Orphanage children

  • Working with AIIMS and the Orphanage to remediate the Health concerns

Birla Swargashram Gurukul Trust, Hrishikesh

We had the great privilege to cater to the needs of a Gurukul run by Birla Trust. The situation on ground was horrible. Kids had to sleep on floor without matresess even in Winter, no proper one-time meal, no proper clothes and so on. 


Few months ago when Shamyapras decided to support this Gurukul, many jumped in to support. We wish to thank them for pitching in immediately without delay, by which we were able to unconditionally cater to these kids and make a difference in their lives.

Thanks to all those who contributed for Gurukul's 2022 annual Annadanam, 45 cots for Gurukul kids. Donated finest 2 pairs of Kurta cloth, blankets, pillows, towels, linens for 45 kids. Also donated 2 pairs of South Indian dhotis and angavastram for 45 kids.


Without all your help we could never accomplish this task so fast. Gurukul kids and acharya ji via placards have extended their gratification in the video. Our koti pranams to all mahanubhav who supported. Seeking your continuous support so, we in coming years get to support more needy gurukuls from near by areas. Very grateful!
